Description An account of the resource Resumen: Objetivo: Evaluar la presencia de brecha marginal, expresada en milímetros (mm), de las paredes libres de la caja proximal en las preparaciones próximo-oclusales (PPO) del sector posterior con resinas de adhesión directa analizadas mediante microtomografía computarizada (μCT). Materiales y Métodos: Se seleccionaron 9 premolares humanos sanos. Se tallaron dos PPO por cada pieza dentaria, una mesial y una distal, (n: 18) de 3 mm de profundidad por 3 mm de ancho, con una piedra ISO 845kr Iso 026 de grano medio y fino, bajo refrigeración acuosa. Se realizaron 3 PPO con piedras de un sólo uso. Se fijaron con compuesto de modelar en un modelo plástico, con piezas dentarias vecinas, para simular la disposición espacial en el arco dentario. Se trató el sustrato dentario con el Sistema Adhesivo Universal Single Bond Universal 3M. Se fotopolimerizó, en modo alto/1200 mw/cm2, con la unidad Grand Valo, Ultradent. Se dividieron en 3 grupos con 6 muestra cada uno. -Grupo I resina nanoparticulado Z 350 3M, en dos incrementos oblicuos inferiores a 2 mm y polimerizando cada uno 20 s, -Grupo II, resina Filtek Bulk Fill, 3M en un solo incremento, polimerizando 40 s. por cada cara de la restauración. -Grupo III, resina tipo Core, Paracore, Coltene en un solo incremento, polimerizando 40 s. Se siguieron los protocolos establecidos según el fabricante. Posteriormente, se escanearon las muestras de las preparaciones y restauraciones fue utilizado un microtomógrafo (Bruker Skyscan 1272). Se cuantificó, en mm, los gaps de las paredes libres de la caja proximal en 3 puntos, gingival, medio y oclusal sobre los márgenes cavitarios (myVGL 3.5) medidos desde el borde cavo superficial de la preparación al material restaurador en sentido horizontal. Fueron registrados los valores en tres puntos equidistantes, gingival, medio y oclusal de las paredes vestibular y palatino. Los datos fueron analizados por ANOVA seguidos por test Student Newman Keuls. Resultados: En los grupos I, II y III, la media (DE) de los gaps (mm) fue de 6.5 (1), 6.1 (1.14) y 5.75 (0.61), respectivamente (p > 0.05). Conclusión: Bajo las condiciones de este trabajo podemos aducir que no se observaron diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre los grupos. Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the presence of marginal gap expressed in mm, of the walls of the proximal box in proximal-occlusal preparations (PPO) of the posterior sector, with direct adhesive resins analyzed by computed microtomography (μCT). Materials and Methods: Nine healthy human premolars were selected. Two PPOs were prepared for each tooth, one mesial and one distal, (n: 18) 3 mm deep by 3 mm wide, with an ISO 845kr iso 026 stone of medium and fine grain, under water cooling. Three PPO were made per stone. They were fixed with modeling compound in a plastic model, with neighboring teeth, to simulate the spatial arrangement of the dental arch. The tooth substrate was treated with the Universal Adhesive System Single Bond Universal 3M. It was light-cured, in high mode/1200 mv/cm2, with the Grand Valo unit, Ultradent. They were divided into 3 groups, 6 samples each: -Group I, nanoparticle resin Z 350 3M, in oblique increments less than 2 mm and polymerizing each one 20 s. -Group II, resin Filtek Bulk Fill 3M, in a single increment, polymerizing 40s per face of the restoration. Group III, Paracore, Coltene in a single increment, polymerizing 40 s per face. The established protocols according to the manufacturer were followed. The samples of the preparations and restorations were scanned using a microtomograph (Bruker Skyscan 1272). The gaps of the free walls of the proximal box were quantified, in mm, in 3 points, gingival, middle, and occlusal on the cavity margins (myVGL 3.5) measured from the cavo surface of the preparation to the restorative material in horizontal sense. The data were analyzed by ANOVA followed by Student Newman Keuls test. Results: In groups I, II, and III, the mean (SD) of the gaps (mm) was 6.5 (1), 6.1 (1.14), and 5.75 (0.61), respectively (p > 0.05).
